Available on the App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery. iOS 13 or newer, Android 5 or newer, with NFC. Create your account with a valid email.
Add the device by NFC or by scanning its Visual ID. Scan or enter your card: the details go to your bank in encrypted form, which issues a token. Confirm with the SMS code from your bank.
Hold the device against your phone to load the token, then tap it at any contactless terminal. Deactivate or reactivate it from the app at any time.

The Alden app is where your wearables live. It links cards, issues tokens and lets you switch a device off the moment you cannot find it.
Your device does not carry your card. It carries a token — a virtual card issued by your bank through Mastercard’s Digital Enablement Service — that stands in for the real number. Lose the ring and you lose nothing: deactivate the token and the ring is inert.
Any Mastercard debit, credit or prepaid card — Standard and higher — from a supported bank. An NFC smartphone on iOS 13+ or Android 5+ is needed once, to load the token.
Further banks in Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Slovenia and the United Arab Emirates are being connected. Your bank is not listed? Tell us — we work directly with issuers to enable tokenization.
Ring sizes are given by inner diameter in millimetres. The simplest method: take a ring you already wear on the same finger and measure its inside diameter, or ask a jeweller to size your finger.
No ring at hand? Wrap a strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length — that is the circumference in the table.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are largest, and choose the larger size if you are between two. Ceramic cannot be resized, so we send a free sizer before shipping if you are unsure.

Tokenization replaces the PAN number of your real card with an alternative number to reduce the risks of using it. A virtual card is created inside your accessory without disclosing your original card details, so your funds stay safe even if the device is lost or stolen.

Currently you can link up to 20 accessories to a single account.
Each Mastercard card can have up to 99 tokens linked.
Only one card can be linked to one accessory at any given moment. To change cards, remove the current one and link a new one; the old token is erased.

We keep only the minimal identification data needed for technical support, stored regionally in compliance with local regulations. Card data is transferred to your bank in encrypted form and is never stored in the app.
Use the option on your Profile page. It deletes all account data, deactivates your tokens and unlinks your accessories. An accessory keeps its plan and can be linked again later.

In the Alden app, open My Devices, select the accessory and press Deactivate. You can reactivate it at any time.
For security, an accessory can only be activated after logging into your account in the Alden app. Keep it activated if you rely on it during the day.
